I am just a very silly lady from the midwest that loves to learn about space and rockets. I grew up with the Space Shuttle program. I am very excited to have the excitement over space the way we do right now. I am a firm believer in more than one company doing well is good for all of them. The competion is when they all do their best work, and them doing their best work is best for all of us. I have yet to actually be somewhere that has launched a rocket to see one happen in person. So I am stuck watching them on a screen for now. I hope to be able to do that one day soon. In the meanwhile, I will be doing some writing, and who knows what else.

Charles Boyer
Writer, Reporter, and Photographer

I was born here in the 1960s, part of Generation Apollo. My family worked at the Cape: grandfather, Dad and for a time, Mom too. Loving space came naturally, and I thought for a long time that everybody had rockets launching across the river from their house. At the end of Apollo, we moved to North Carolina, where I got my education, worked in materials science R&D. I came back home five years ago to watch history being made. I plan to share as much of that as I can, and hope you enjoy seeing it.

Chris is a dedicated EMT and ER nurse that has worked in various hospitals throughout the country. He became obsessed with all things space after seeing his first Falcon 9 launch in 2021. Since his first launch, Chris has taken up photography to capture the increasing launch cadence. He travels the world chasing rockets and has now seen over 50 launches over the past few years. In his spare time, Chris enjoys traveling and going to concerts.

I am a a rocket nerd from Southwest Florida. I grew up watching the shuttle program as I was born about a year after STS 1. I am a firm believer in all space is good space. I have had the privilege to be able to see night launches from my backyard. I have been in person to see Atlas V, Falcon 9 and Shuttle launches. I currently write a blog on space and why it still inspires in the second Golden Age of Space Travel. I have over twenty years in the education field and look forward to helping out as I am needed.

Dima Gilmour
Writer, Reporter, and Photographer
Constantly in Motion
Chasing rockets since STS 117 in 2007, Dima had witnessed many historical moments in spaceflight history. In 2022, he began documenting them with his mother’s old cannon 50D starting with Starship flight 1. Over the last 5 years Dima’s grown his arsenal of equipment and has captured many more historic moments in spaceflight history such as the final flight of the Block 1/2 starship variants, and the rollout of Artemis 2! He’s excited to bring much more historic moments to the team at MaxQ!

I have long been captivated by the wonder of space, feeling most connected to God, and the universe surrounding us, while gazing at the night sky. Growing up, I remember feeling a strong curiosity towards space; as a child, I would never leave the library without a book on the planets or stars! I’ve enjoyed many trips to West Texas and the Big Bend region over the years, where the night sky is renowned for its darkness and clarity. I was privileged to attend a star party at McDonald Observatory; it was truly an unforgettable experience to glance through the giant telescopes! It brought into perspective for me that the cosmos are not out of reach. I enjoy cooking, antiquing, and discovering delicious cuisine near my home in North Georgia! I’m a wife and auntie, and I treasure time spent with my husband and family above all else. I’m thrilled to be a part of the MaxQ team!

Hi my name is Gabriel Bauman. I am excited to be working with MaxQ! I grew up watching the sapce shuttle launches and one of the most exciting things i got to see was teh very last night launch. I am an Eagle Scout so i am really excited to share that with some of the astronauts who are also Eagle Scouts. The reason why i wanted to join MaxQ was to get you all the best possible coverage i can from Wallps and help with a few other stores here and there. The mission i have been the most excited about was Crew 3 which landed only about 100 miles away from me. I cant wait for you all to see what MaxQ has coming!
